Twohey's menu is a celebration of rich, satisfying flavors that excite the palate. Breakfast lovers will appreciate the variety of exquisitely crafted omelets—each one a delightful medley of quality ingredients. Take the South Pasadena Omelet, featuring savory sausage, applewood smoked bacon, mushrooms, tomato, and creamy Havarti cheese, or opt for the Napa Omelet, a fresh and earthy blend of avocado, spinach, wild mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and a dollop of sour cream. For a lighter touch, the Healthy Breakfast with scrambled egg whites, grilled chicken, avocado, and fresh fruit delivers vibrant flavors with nourishing balance.

Signature entrees like the Californian Burger showcase Twohey's expertise in creating classic dishes with a gourmet edge. Imagine biting into a juicy, perfectly seasoned patty crowned with melted cheese and fresh avocado, paired with crisp fries or their indulgent poutine. The BBQ Wings carry a smoky, tangy kick that's utterly addictive, while the Beef Short Ribs come tender and rich, complemented by sautéed spinach and garlic. The Chicken and Waffles offer a perfect harmony of sweet and savory, a dish that visitors can’t stop raving about.

Of course, no visit would be complete without indulging in Twohey’s famous soda fountain and dessert selections. The Bittersweet Hot Fudge Sundae is a standout—a luscious combination of creamy vanilla ice cream drenched in perfectly balanced bittersweet chocolate, crowned with whipped cream, roasted almonds, and a cherry on top. As one longtime guest fondly recalls, the hot fudge sundae is “really grateful to see alive & well even closer to home” and truly unbeatable.

What elevates the dining experience here is not just the food but also the warm, friendly service and welcoming environment. Several guests have praised the attentive staff for making every visit feel special — whether it’s a lively reunion, a casual family dinner, or a solo treat. Love me a limeade & hot fudge Sunday with raspberries. We used to get both these & a cheeseburger when I was a kid at the original location. Really grateful to see twohey's alive & well even closer to home. Can't beat the hot fudge!

This feels like the best version of a fancy diner where I would be happy eating like 10 different things off the menu. I had the prime rib dip with home made chips and both the sandwich + dip and the chips were fantastic. It ended up being a nice big plate. So good. My partner had a short rib melt and loved it. His potato salad was fantastic, with some olive oil and scallions. They have a great happy hour and since we were there early, we also had some decent margarita and mojito. Edit: We've been back a bunch of times since the first review. Several sandwiches are good, the chocolate milkshake is great, the poutine sauce is awesome (except for a little too many mushrooms). Overall, a hit with everyone we bring here.

Held a mini high school reunion here for six at 3:30 pm on a weekday. Beat the dinner rush, plenty of free parking. Got a nice booth near the door so we could watch for people we haven't seen in a zillion years to arrive. All were easily found thanks to our location. Service was friendly. I had dessert for dinner. The large sundae with bittersweet chocolate. Cherry on top. It was yum. I snatched an onion ring, nice not greasy, lightly friend. Others ordered stuff from the happy hour menu. Everyone seemed happy. Yayyy. We were there about 3 hours. And also lingered for about 20 minutes in parking lot. Two of us chose to park on street same side as restaurant, so parking filled up fast after I arrived. The place shares a lot with other businesses. Some parking in rear. Invoke your car karma.

First time here and so seriously impressed with the ambiance, the service was first class - Brody took excellent care of our party of 8 - The food was delicious, the baby back ribs were perfectly prepared, and even our picky children loved their food too! They even had the Dodger game on for the WIN! Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back!

The food was especially good. I had a burger, and when I ate it, it tasted like heaven. It was soft, but it had the right amount of salt and other stuff. I also had the ice cream. It was pretty good, not gonna lie. The service was as fast as any other diner. It's a little long but not that bad. The place felt modern. There is a little bit of wood details here and there. But you're probably not going to notice them anyway.

The chef came to greet us at the end of our experience. He told us our scallops came from a small island in Japan. My sister and I felt so special. The host kept coming by to make sure everything was okay or if we needed or wanted something extra. We enjoyed our food.

Just squeaked in before they closed at 9pm. I had (part of) an excellent Steak Frites with garlic fries. Tom and Denise both had the Thursday special- a really good Chicken Pot Pie, with gravy that is out of this world! We all got salads too, and that was lucky, because salads were unusually good. Split a piece of dark chocolate cake too. A fabulous meal!
